Iron Ore

Iron ore is a mineral or rock that contains iron oxides and can be used to extract iron. Iron ore is used to make iron and steel, and the primary forms of iron oxide in iron ore are magnetite (Fe3O4) and hematite (Fe2O3).

Hematite

Magnetite

Limonite

An iron ore that contains about 60% iron and can range in color from yellow to dark. It is also known as lemon rock or yellow iron ore.

Siderite

An iron ore that contains 48% iron and lacks sulfur and phosphorus. However, it is considered an inferior quality iron ore due to its low iron content and impurities
